In 2025, the Borough of Conshohocken formed a Redistricting Task Force tasked with preparing a maximum of three (3) revised ward map(s) consisting of seven (7) wards for Borough Council consideration. The main goal for the Task Force was to realign ward boundaries to ensure equal population distribution based on 2020 official census data and in accordance with the Borough Code and Pennsylvania Law. As of the February 2026 meeting, the Task Force has finalized drafting their proposed redistricting maps for Council consideration.
At this time, the Task Force would like to request submission of any publicly proposed redistricting ward maps for consideration. Note that submitted maps must meet all legal requirements for reapportionment of election districts including, but not limited to, retaining census block boundaries, having a maximum population deviation of ten percent (10%), and being as “compact and contiguous” as practicable. The Task Force will discuss and review submitted maps at the Task Force meeting on March 11, 2026. Any maps that do not meet the standards listed above will be automatically removed from consideration. The Task Force will compile a list of a maximum of three (3) proposed draft maps selected from Task Force drafted Maps and submissions from the public. Those final proposed maps will then be presented to Borough Council for consideration, and one map will be approved by Borough Council to conclude the process.
Publicly proposed maps must be submitted to the Task Force no later than 4:00pm on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 via email to Stephanie Cecco, Borough Manager, at scecco@conshohockenpa.gov. Maps should be submitted via email as a shareable link to the map within the Dave’s Redistricting App. Dave’s Redistricting App is a free website in which users can compile proposed redistricting maps.
