Conshohocken Mayor Yaniv Aronson has extended the current snow emergency declaration until Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at 4 p.m. based on the risk of hazard and danger to the health, safety, and welfare of those present within the Borough due to weather conditions, and the continued need for the Borough to safely remove significant snow accumulations.
Under this extension, the following acts shall be unlawful, and shall be punishable as provided under law:
- To park a motor vehicle or to allow that vehicle to remain parked anywhere on any snow emergency route designated in section 15-903 (Snow Emergency Routes Designated) of the Borough's Code of Ordinances.
The snow emergency routes are:
- Fayette Street
Both sides from the Conshohocken Borough line to the Matsonford Bridge - East 1st Avenue – North Side
From Harry Street to Fayette Street - West 1st Avenue – North Side
From Fayette Street to Forrest Street - Freedly Street – East Side
12th Avenue to the alley of north 11th Avenue - Poplar Street
Elm Street to Washington Street
The current declaration making it unlawful to drive any motor vehicle on any such snow emergency route, unless that vehicle is equipped with snow tires or chains is still in effect until Tuesday, January 27 at noon.
