NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Borough Council of the Borough of Conshohocken will hold a PUBLIC HEARING at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, in Borough Hall, located at 400 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428 to consider an ordinance vacating a certain paper street in the Borough, as set forth below. The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public comment and public testimony regarding vacation of the paper street. A request to vacate the paper street was received by LaFamiglia I LP.
The paper street proposed to be vacated is located to the rear of 607 and 613 Spring Mill Avenue, bordered by those certain properties owned by LaFamiglia I LP. The specific area to be vacated comprises approximately 178 square feet, and is more particularly described in the metes and bound description, and plan, attached to the ordinance identified below
After the hearing, Borough Council will consider enactment of the following ordinance:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF CONSHOHOCKEN, MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, VACATING AND ABANDONING A CERTAIN PAPER STREET IN THE BOROUGH OF CONSHOHOCKEN, MONTGOMERY COUNTY,PENNSYLVANIA.
Proposed Ordinance Vacating a Paper Street
The ordinance would vacate the paper street identified above, thereby reverting title to the right-of-way to the abutting property owners, as provided under applicable law. The ordinance authorizes the proper Borough officials to execute such documents as shall be necessary or desirable to clarify and establish title to the vacated paper street. The ordinance contains a severability clause and an effective date.
