Commissions and Boards Vacancies
The Borough of Conshohocken has the following Commissions and Boards vacancies available:

(1) Conshohocken Human Relations Commission
Purpose of the Conshohocken Human Relations Commission
Conshohocken Human Relations Commission shall be charged with the duty to provide public education, promote diversity and inclusion within the Borough, to act as a liaison to community groups and civic organizations and to serve, generally, as a community resource regarding diversity, anti-discrimination, and equality of opportunity in all aspects of the common welfare of the Borough.
Membership
The Conshohocken Human Relations Commission shall consist of not less than three (3), nor more than nine (9) members, who shall be appointed to terms of three (3) years by the Borough Council.
(2) Business Development Commission
Purpose of the Business Development Commission
The purpose of the Business Development Commission is to be a vehicle to coordinate volunteer efforts with the efforts of the Borough government, to foster creative thinking and community outreach and involvement, and to promote the Borough as a hospitable climate for the growth and development of small, medium and large scale businesses.
Membership
The Business Development Commission shall consist of at least five (5), but not more than nine (9), members each of whom shall serve a term of three (3) years. The members of the Commission shall be Borough residents or owners of a business located within Conshohocken, provided that no appointment may be made that would result in a non-resident majority membership on the Commission.
(3) Environmental Advisory Council
Purpose of the Environmental Advisory Council
The purpose of the Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) is to identify environmental problems and recommend plans and programs to the Borough Council, the Planning Commission, and other committees and boards of the Borough for the promotion and conservation of the natural resources and for the protection and improvement of the quality of the environment within the Borough.
Membership
The EAC shall consist of at least five (5), but no more than seven (7) residents of the Borough each of whom shall serve a three (3) years term.
(4) Conshohocken Municipal Authority
Purpose of the Municipal Authority
The purpose of the Municipal Authority is to acquire, hold, construct, improve, maintain, operate, own, lease, in the capacity of either lessee or lessor, sewers, sewer system or parts thereof and sewage treatment works, including works for treatment and disposing of domestic sewage in and for the Borough of Conshohocken and such other territory as it may be authorized to serve.
Membership
The Municipal Authority shall consist of five members, each of whom shall serve for a term of five years.
