(1) Conshohocken Planning Commission

Mission of the Planning Commission
The mission of the Planning Commission shall be to promote, with the greatest efficiency and economy, the coordinated development of the Borough and the general welfare and prosperity of its people; the aim of the Commission shall be to secure the uniform and harmonious growth of the Borough; its prime function shall be to investigate advise and recommend with respect to municipal planning.

Membership
The Planning Commission shall consist of five members, each of whom shall serve for a term of four years.

 

(5-7) Environmental Advisory Council

Mission of the Environmental Advisory Council

The mission of Conshohocken's Environmental Advisory Committee is to promote initiatives for conservation of energy and natural resources, in response to local governments and residents whose communities are consuming resources at a rate that cannot be sustained over a long period of time.  It is also the mission of the Environmental Advisory Committee, here after referred to as EAC, to influence the conservation of energy and natural resources of Conshohocken owned buildings, parks, and grounds through enhancement of environmentally sound procurement of products and services and through a continuing education program.  The EAC is an advisory committee made up of Borough Council officials and volunteer residents of the Borough of Conshohocken.

Membership

The EAC shall be composed of at least five (5), but no more than seven (7), residents of the Borough who shall be appointed by the Borough Council.  Any vacancies in the membership of the EAC shall be filled by the Borough Council.
