BOROUGH OF CONSHOHOCKEN
PUBLIC HEARING NOVEMBER 5, 2008
A Public Hearing was held on November 5, 2008 at 7:00 P.M. at Conshohocken Borough Hall, 6th Avenue & Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA. The following information was given to those attending: The Borough proposes to apply for $400,000 in HOME funds to continue its Housing Rehabilitation Program. HOME funds would be used primarily for construction. There is currently a waiting list of eighty-five (85) properties for rehabilitation purposes. We hope to complete approximately 14 homes at an average cost of $26,500. This figure includes the cost of lead based paint hazard reduction. The public and council were invited to comment or ask questions. Council President Caterbone and Councilman Stokley commented that “it was a great program”. There were no further comments or questions from the public.
