BOROUGH OF CONSHOHOCKEN

REORGANIZATION MEETING

JANUARY 4, 2010

Meeting called to order by Councilperson Mr. James Griffin.

District Justice Francis J.  Bernhardt, III swore in Robert Frost as the new Mayor.

District Justice Francis J. Bernhardt, III swore in Dominic Cocia as the Tax Collector for the Borough.

Honorable John M. Young swore in Councilperson James Griffin from the 2^nd Ward.

District Justice Francis J. Bernhardt, III swore in Councilperson Carolyn Maye from the 4^th Ward and Councilperson Robert Stokley from the 6^th ward.

A motion was made by Mr. Tucci to nominate Mr. Paul McConnell to the office of President of Council. Seconded by Mr. Griffin.  A Roll Call Vote was taken. All members of Council voted in favor of the nomination. Motion passed 7-0 vote.

Council President Mr. Paul McConnell received the gavel from the Mayor.

A motion was made by Mr. Salus to nominate Mr. Tucci to the office of Vice President. Seconded by Mr. Phipps. A Roll Call vote was taken. All members of Council voted in favor of the nomination. Motion passed by 7-0 vote

A motion was made by Mr. Phipps to authorize the Manager to execute the new payroll company documents.  Seconded by Mr. Stokely.  All voted in favor.  Motion passed.

The Prayer of Council was given by Mr. Tucci and the Pledge of Allegiance was said.   Members of Council present at the meeting were Mr. Paul McConnell, Mr. Anthony Tucci, Mr. Jason Salus, Mr. James Griffin, Mr. Robert Stokley, Mr. Edward Phipps and Ms. Carolyn Maye.

A motion was made by Mr. Salus to authorize the Council President, Council Vice President & Manager as authorized check signers for the Borough.  Motion seconded by Mr. Griffin.  All voted in favor.  Motion passed.

Mr. Salus thanked everyone for coming and welcomed Ms. Maye and Mayor Frost and congratulated Mr. Stokley and Mr. Griffin on their reelection.

Ms. Maye stated that she is looking forward to serving her community.

Mr. Stokley thanked his family and fellow residents for their support and welcomed Ms. Maye and Mayor Frost.

Mr. Tucci welcomed Mayor Frost and Ms. Maye to Council.

 Mr. Phipps said congratulations to Ms. Maye, Mayor Frost, Mr. Stokley and Mr. Griffin.

Mr. Griffin welcomed the new Councilmember's to the Board.

Mr. McConnell thanked everyone on Council for their support and looks forward to a great year!
