a.      Record in the minutes that on April 6, 2011 Mr. Stokley made a motion for the Borough to accept dedication of West First Avenue and pay to all the outstanding bills on the project. Motion was seconded by Ms. Maye. Everyone voted in favor of the motion except Mr. McConnell who was absent.
b.      Council will have for consideration adopting a motion for a final change order for quantity adjustments and additional lights for 500 Block Streetscape project in the amount of $2,381.26.
c.      Special meeting for curbs, road repairs and radius at the alleys update. A meeting was tonight 6:00 P.M.
d.      Record in the minutes that on April 6, 2011 Mr. Stokley made a motion to authorize the Engineer to repair the 300 Block of Harry Street roadway. The estimated costs of the repairs are $47,715. Motion was seconded by Mr. Phipps. Everyone voted in favor of the motion except Mr. McConnell who was absent.
e.      Council will have for consideration authorizing the Engineer to have the parking lines painted on Spring Mill Avenue for $5,500.
f.        Council will have for consideration adopting a motion for the Intent to Award the 2011 Road Program Bids to Laffredo Construction for $303,633.25 pending the Engineer’s review.
g.      Council will have for consideration adopting a motion to accept the Pubic Works Garage Stuccoing Bid which was received on Monday, April 18, 2011 at 10:00 P.M. The Committee would recommend to Council that we accept the low bid received from Breffni Plastering, Inc., 4919 Township Line Road, Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania 19026 for the amount of $17,500 pending the Solicitor’s review.
h.      Council will have for consideration hiring Anthony Scott, Courtland Jackson, Dan McArthur, Isley Robinson, Jemel Major and Justin Schultz as returning seasonal workers for the Public Works Department.

a.      Committee would like Council to authorize the Engineer to bid the repairs to the wall behind the property at 225 East Hector Street in Aubrey Collins Park.
b.      Mary Wood Park Improvements Project Phase I will start May 2, 2011.
c.      Higher Ground Church International Carnival in a park from April 28 to May 1, 2011 update.
3.      Recreation
a.      Boathouse project update. The plan is to have a sketch plan to the Borough Council in May.
b.      Conshohocken Little League Opening Day is Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 10:00 A.M.
 
Robert Frost - Mayor Report
 
1.      Police Department
a.      Police and Statistics report for the month of February and March.
b.      Second nationwide medication take back event will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2011 from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. at the Conshohocken Police Station.
c.      The Police Department has received a request from the Plymouth Whitemarsh High School PTSO for a contribution for the Senior Prom Party this year.
d.      The Friends of the Forgotten will ride motorcycles through Town on Sunday, June 5, 2011 around noon.
e.      Council will have for consideration hiring Michael Radatti as a Crossing Guard.
2.      Mayor’s Special Events Committee
a.      Car Show Saturday, June 4, 2011 – 10:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
 
Paul McConnell – President- Ward 3- Finance Chair

a.    Record in the minutes that at the April 6, 2011 meeting Ms. Maye made a motion to accept the Solicitor’s recommendation to deny D.R. Horton request not to pay interest and penalty on their Business Privilege taxes. Motion was seconded by Mr. Griffin. Everyone voted in favor of the motion except Mr. McConnell who was absent.
3.      Conshohocken Off Street Parking Incentive Program update.
4.      Boards and Commissions
a.      Council will have for consideration an appointment to the Zoning Hearing Board.
5.      Revitalization Plan hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, May 4, 2011 and Council will have for consideration adoption of the Plan on Wednesday, May 18, 2011. The timing of the public hearing and Plan adoption were established to meet the County’s Grant requirements. Council has copies of the draft Plan and a copy was posted on the Borough’s Website for public comments.
6.      Representative Gerber is requesting that the Borough of Conshohocken adopt a Non-Discrimination Ordinance similar to the one adopted by Lower Merion. Council will have for consideration this month the Solicitor’s draft Human Relations Commission Ordinance.
7.      Council will have for consideration adopting a motion for Ordinance which establishes the Interest Rate for Municipal Liens at 10%.
8.      Council will have for consideration a Wavier of Off-Street Parking request for 523 Fayette Street.
