CONSHOHOCKEN MEETING A Hearing There are no hearings scheduled for tonight. Executive Session There is an Executive Session tonight after the meeting to discuss real estate and personnel matters. Presentation There is a presentation by Borough Council to a resident who developed our new Website scheduled for tonight. Council Meeting 1 Regular Meeting Call to Order by Council President. 2 Roll Call by the Borough Secretary. 3. Prayer of Council. 4. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. 5. Public Comment DEPARTMENT & STAFF REPORTS: Thomas F. Beach – Borough Engineer James H. Dougherty – Police Chief Robert Phipps – Fire Chief Code Enforcement Officer / Fire Marshal Christine Stetler – Zoning & Community Development Harvey Buek – Public Works Supervisor Francis Marabella – Borough Secretary/Treasurer (1) Monthly Treasurer’s report. (2) Minutes for the COUNCIL MEMBER & COMMITTEE REPORTS Ed Phipps - Parks & Recreation, Public Safety, Finance & Fellowship House (1) Council will have to discuss if they want to adopt a motion to award the “A” Field building stucco re-bids to Duall Builders Restoration, Inc. for the amount of $76,600 for the base bid and pay for this out of the Parks and Recreation Fund. (2) Council will have to discuss if they want to adopt a motion to take the “A” Field floor replacement cost out of the Parks and Recreation Fund. (3) The Parks and Recreation meeting for July has been changed to (4) Council will have to discuss if they want to adopt a motion to release the maintenance bond for the ramp at Bob Stokley - Public Works, Parks & Recreation, Personnel, Building & Grounds & Fellowship House (1) Council will have to record for the minutes the (2) The Borough will stop selling leaf bags once this order is sold out, because residents can purchase these bags at a number of different locations now. (3) Council will have to discuss if they want to adopt a motion authorizing the Engineer to begin work on construction documents and necessary PENDOT permits for streetscape improvements to the 500 block of (4) Council will have to discuss if they want to adopt a motion to authorize the Engineer to bid 100 Block of Fayette Street Streetscape improvements. Total cost of the project is $377,235. The County grant for the project is $286,000; and the Borough match is $91,235.00 (5) Council will have to discuss if they want to adopt a motion to authorize the Engineer to bid the Open Space Greening and Bicycle Rack project. The project will provide street trees from the 100 to 400 block of (6) Council needs to authorize the Manager to release the following escrows:

(3) Council will have to discuss if they want to adopt a motion to rebid the Code vehicle again. (4) Council will have to discuss if they want to adopt a motion to approve the Insurance Company’s settlement proposal for the Kurt Gale v. Borough of Conshohocken lawsuit. (5) Council will have to discuss if they want to adopt a motion to release Narberth Ambulance’s 2009’s contribution in the amount of $2,000. (6) The Code Department has started to step up enforcement in the Borough for any Ordinance violations. Paul McConnell – Personnel, Finance, Public Works, Building & Grounds, Transportation & Parking, & Library (1) There is a Police and Firemen’s Pension meeting scheduled for (2) Council will have to discuss if they want to adopt a Resolution formally thanking a resident for all their work on the new Borough’s Website. Jason Salus - Building & Grounds, Personnel, Transportation& Parking, (1) Council will have to record for the minutes the Joe Collins - Mayor Report (1) Police report for the month. (2) Council will have to discuss if they want to adopt a motion to hire James Green as a crossing guard pending all background checks. (3) The Police Department is accepting applications for crossing guards for next year. (4) The Mayor would like Council to adopt a motion to approve Anthony Santoro’s request for his second tuition reimbursement for 2009 for $1,225.00 which includes book cost. (5) The Mayor would like Council to adopt a motion to approve William Walter’s request for his first and second tuition reimbursement for 2009 for $654.00 plus book cost. Sandy Caterbone - President (1) I received a call from Comcast that they can no longer pay a Company to tape our Borough Council Meeting because it is not in our Franchise Agreement with them. They will continue to tape the meetings for a period of time and during this time they will help us to get our Community Channel up and running so that we can tape our own meetings. (2) The Farmers Market is open every Friday from (3) Council will have to discuss if they want to make appointments to the Community Revitalization Task Force pending them accepting the appointment to work on updating our plan. These appointments can be made this month or in August. (4) Council will have to discuss if they want to adopt a motion to authorize the Solicitor to advertise and prepare an Ordinance for a change in our deed registration Ordinance for next month.
