Hearing
There are no public hearings scheduled for tonight.

Executive Session
There is an Executive Session tonight after the meeting to discuss real estate and personnel
matters.

Presentation
(1) There is a meeting with Congressman Sestak scheduled for tonight at 6:30 P.M.
(2) There are presentations by Fire Chief Phipps scheduled for tonight at 7:00 P.M.
(3) There is a presentation for Anna Schatz 100th birthday scheduled for tonight at 7:00 P.M.

COUNCIL MEMBER & COMMITTEE REPORTS
Ed Phipps - Parks & Recreation, Public Safety, Finance & Fellowship House
(1) The Little League opening day is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2009 at 10:00 A.M.
(2) Council will have to discuss adopting a motion to authorize the Staff and the Solicitor to
repair the wall at 225 East Hector Street.
(3) Council will have to discuss if they want to adopt a Resolution for the submittal of a DCNR
Grant for a feasibility study to connect to the County Cross County Trail. There is a 50%
match for this Grant and the Grant application is for $20,000 to $25,000.

Bob Stokley - Public Works, Parks & Recreation, Personnel, Building & Grounds &
Fellowship House
(1) Public Works summer help employees update.
(2) The Public Works Department would like Council adopt a motion to authorize them to
advertise the sale or send to the auction a 1981 International truck with no body.
(3) Council needs to authorize the Manager to release the following escrows:
Developer Project Amount
Shaffer Builders 125 East Elm Street $15,356.17 plus interest
earnings less any bills.

Ike Griffin - Transportation & Parking, Public Safety & Building & Grounds
(1) The Rambler’s new schedule for 2009 update.

Tony Tucci - Public Safety, Public Works, Parks & Recreation & Library
(1) Council will have to discuss if they want to adopt a Resolution for handling any Police
Open Records request.
(2) Council will have to discuss if they want to adopt a motion for advertised Environmental
Advisory Council Ordinance.
(3) The Code Department would like Council adopt a motion to authorize them to advertise
the sale of a code vehicle.
(4) Council has a draft copy of the Emergency Management Director Job Description for your
review.
(5) Council will have to discuss if they want to adopt a motion to extend the Towing Contracts
for another year. Per the Contract we must notify everyone by May 1st if we are going to
extend or terminate the Contracts.
(6) Council will have to record for the minutes the Wednesday, April 1, 2009 vote taken to
authorize the Staff to submit a COPS – CHRP Grant for an additional Officer for the Police
Department. Mr. Stokley made the motion, it was seconded by Mr. Salus, everyone voted in
favor of the motion. Ms. Caterbone and Mr. Tucci were absent from the meeting.

Paul McConnell – Personnel, Finance, Public Works, Building & Grounds,
Transportation & Parking, & Library
(1) Council will have to discuss if they want to adopt a motion to waive the handicapped
parking fee for a resident at 303 East Elm Street.
(2) Council will have to discuss if they want to adopt a motion to authorize the Staff and the
Solicitor to prepare an Ordinance and the documents for the Borough to join the DVHIT Trust.
(3) Council has a copy of the May 2009 Library events for the month.

Jason Salus - Building & Grounds, Personnel, Transportation& Parking, Finance &
Mary Wood Park House
(1) Council will have to discuss if they want to adopt a Resolution for Land Development
approval for 212 Wood Street (Hammer Junk Yard).
(2) Council will have to discuss authorizing the Staff to move forward with a Shared Ride
Reimbursement Program in the Borough.

Joe Collins - Mayor Report
(1) Police report for the month.
(2) We need a crossing guard for the crossing at Third and Fayette Street.
(3) The Conshohocken Car Show is scheduled for June 6, 2009 with a rain date of June 13,
2009 from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
(4) Council will have to discuss if they want to approve the Friends Of the Forgotten
motorcycle ride on June 7, 2009 pending approval from Penn Dot.

Sandy Caterbone - President
(1) Congressman Sestak met with Borough Council at 6:30 P.M. to discuss what Grants are
available and how his office can help us.
(2) Council will have to discuss if they want to adopt a Resolution for a Land Development
approval for 312 West 4th Avenue.
(3) Council will have to discuss if they want to adopt a Resolution for Anna Schatz turning
100 years old on May 2nd.
(4) We received a request again to have a Resolution adopted to name September as the
Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month and allow them to place ribbons around the trees on
Fayette Street.
(5) We are working on the 2009 Farmers Market which is scheduled to open on May 1st.
Attached are copies of two (2) resumes for a Market Manager. Council will have to discuss if
they want to adopt a motion to hire one of these candidates
(6) The Wastewater Authority would like to meet with Council to update everyone on the
overall operation of the Authority. Dates and times?
